This is the story of a family who, with courage and knowledge, have become well established over time: a marriage between business ethics and Made in Italy excellence.

Antonio Gerosa

The story of Gerosa Tende began in the early 1900s with Andrea Gerosa, it continued with Francesco Gerosa and continues with Giuseppe Gerosa (Antonio's father). It was Giuseppe who, combining his experience as master upholsterer with his passion for artisanal handicrafts, started to produce, manufacture and finally market his own products.

But it is thanks to his son Antonio, who trained at the Istituto d’Arte di Cantù, that the business was structured and established as both a manufacturing workshop and as a showroom displaying a wide range of the most prestigious global textile brands.

Antonio Gerosa, after having attended the institute of art where he learnt to design and develop his gift of imagination, graduated as an art teacher; at the same time, he trained alongside his father in the workshop, who taught him to appreciate the quality of the product and instilled in him the skill and creativity of the work. Today, thanks to this long experience, just a sketch or a photo is sufficient for him to create unique patterns to suit every style of setting, with every creation designed together with the customer to the smallest detail.

Since 2007 he has been joined by his son Marco.

Marco Gerosa

Marco initially began working in the family business to "lend a hand" in times of need, but what began as simply covering family needs, soon turned into a passion.

After having achieved a degree in Engineering Management from the Politecnico di Milano, and driven by a passion for design in general and in particular by an interest in interiors, he continued his education focusing on architecture and achieved a master's degree in Interior Design from the Accademia del Lusso di Milano.

He joined the company on a permanent basis in 2007. Today he deals with all aspects of the company, providing consultations to private clients, understanding their needs and expectations, and designing rooms keeping in mind trends in taste and the evolution of styles.

Also with an eye to exteriors, he works with the most prestigious brands, inventing new solutions that take into account aesthetic and functional considerations, as well as more practical ones.

Marinella Gerosa

Director of the Gerosa Tende workshop, Marinella began her artisanal work in the 1980s; she was joined immediately afterwards by her husband Antonio, from whom she learnt about the taste, technique and refinement of high quality Italian sartorial workmanship.

Today, she plays a key role in the company where, supported by a team of professionals, she focuses on the effective production and manufacture of highly prestigious 100% Made in Italy curtains. Each curtain, each fabric that is used presents, in fact, its own peculiarities or difficulties and it is only thanks to team effort and a thorough knowledge of all aspects that every intricacy can be overcome.

Marinella closely follows the production of each piece: from the initial idea through to production and the finished product. Each with a unique and well-balanced style, where elegance and character achieve perfect harmony.

Laura Gerosa

Second child of Antonio and Marinella Gerosa, Laura attended and obtained a master's degree in Banking, Finance and Insurance Sciences at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and took her first steps in the financial sector working as an insurance broker.

However, over the years her passion for fabrics has had the upper hand and motivated Laura to follow in the footsteps of her brother Marco and make a tangible contribution to her family's artisanal commitment - something which had already intrigued her in the past when she enthusiastically dedicated herself to the company during the long summer breaks from academic commitments.

Today, Laura works alongside both Antonio and Marinella, supporting the entire production process, from the initial design to the finished product.

Enrica Rizzi

Professionally speaking, her entry into the world of design occurred whilst working with an interior architectural practice; this is where her interest in living spaces was born.

In 1995, she joined the Gerosa Tende company where she held the central role of showroom manager and in which she immediately found the world of fabrics so fascinating that his job became her passion.

This passion, together with her innate creativity and curiosity about this market, allowed her to connect that particular common thread that binds the customer's needs - conveying their sensitivities and tastes - to the actual design. This is the only way that she consistently managed to create a relationship based on collaboration and mutual trust that can satisfy both parties.
